National Zoo

We love going to the zoo and the National Zoo was awesome!

We happened to pick yet another super rainy day, but it ended up working in our favor.

There were hardy anyone there and the animals put on a great show.

First stop was the pandas.

The baby panda was up in a tree and hard to see, but still very cool!

This is the mom chowing down and the dad was napping.

The Lions were the best!

The male was extremely vocal, roaring over and over.  We didn't know why until we walked over to the female enclosure which had two adult females and 6 of their cubs.  The cubs were running around playing just like kittens would.  Babies at the zoo are the best....It was amazing!
