First Tooth Lost!

Ethan lost his first tooth tonight!
It has been loose for weeks now. This kid has a hard time letting go of things. I almost thought it would never come out because he would never work on it for fear of it actually coming out. However, tonight he finally let me push on it. One good push and it was barely hanging on. Then I pretended to dab on it with a tissue, I grabbed a hold of it and out it came.
Super easy, and as you can see he is super excited.

Happy Halloween!

We have had a great Halloween. The kids have their buckets full of candy, and so are their bellies. Mom and Dad are a little too full as well.

They were all very excited about their costume choices this year.

Cole wanted to be a Mummy, that was a fun and easy costume to put together.

Ethan was a Ghost, I made the costume, I think it turned out really well. He liked it, that's all that mattered.

Isabel was a Kitty, and a super cute one.
Last but not least, Ashton was a Skeleton and by far the easiest. It was a pair of PJ's we bought months ago.
Here are the rest....

Little Cheerleader

Isabel has started to play dress-up, which is super fun. So the other day Izzy wanted to put this one on. This outfit was a hand-me-down from my sister Holly. Kevin and I don't like to affiliate ourselves with the school she is representing, so I debated even letting her use it. However, we gave in and she was in it all day. I made her some crude pom poms out of cut up grocery bags and she had tons of fun. So I guess what's the harm that it says BYU, as long as she doesn't go there someday. Well, unless it is BYU Hawaii, that would be fine with us.
Go!
Fight!
Win!

Ashton...7 1/2 months!

Ashton, our little cutie!
I can't believe he is almost 8 months now!
Where is the time going? Lately I find myself cuddling and kissing on him all the time. I know he is my last so I feel the need to get all this snugly baby time in. I can see why the baby of the families are SO spoiled....parents can't help it.
It's our last chance.
What is it about paper and babies? They just can't leave it alone.

He has been sitting up for awhile now and scooting. He is getting really close to crawling. The other night he woke-up(Oh did I mention, still not sleeping through the night-darn) and he had pulled himself up to the side of the crib. Well the next day we lowered the crib mattress. For the Last time.

YES!

Snow Is Here!

We woke up to this! SNOW!
Too soon, I say, TOO SOON!
We had a really wet, mild summer.....so "they" say we are in for a wet, snowy winter.
All I can say is my poor flowers. I wasn't ready to say good bye.

FHS Homecoming Parade!

Last weekend Cole and his flag football team was in the Frederick High school's homecoming parade. It was fun for all of us. Ethan and Isabel were excited to watch and wait for their brother to come and throw them candy. Cole didn't disappoint. He showered us with goodies.
It was great.

Even Ashton thought it was exciting!

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Happy 5th Birthday!
Ethan is now 5!
On September 17 he was born and he is such a special boy!
What can I say, I don't know what I would do without my "E"!

Lake Powell!

We were able to sneak away from school and work and head over to Utah to see my new baby nephew blessed. We also got to spend some time at Lake Powell! The trip was great! We had a lot of fun!
The is the Colorado River in the Back ground...near Moab. Beautiful drive, through Moab. If you ever head that way and have the time we suggest it!
Kevin and Ethan on the Sky Ski.
Cole and Maddie
All the kids trying to get Uncle Kev!

Isabel, such a fish and so brave, jumping off of everything!

However, the boys hold the bravery record for the trip. Cole, Bryce, and yes Ethan started jumping off the top of the house boat this year.

It was a really fun trip!

Cole Gets Baptised

Cole was baptised back in August. We had family come out and share the moment with us.

Thank to all who were able to come!

Cole turns 8!

I can not believe I have an eight year old now. Time can really fly!

It seems just like yesterday when he was so small and sweet!

Now look at him!

On his birthday we gave him what he wanted most...

a water fight! Nobody was off limits, not neighbors, babies, or mom's holding babies!

It was a blast!

Catch Up

Okay! Okay! So I know I've not been blogging! With four kids now I feel that there is always so much to do and so much going on I barely have enough time to sit and catch my breath let alone sit at the computer. However, today I find myself with a little extra time. So here are all the things I have missed.

First, back in July we went to Logan to visit Kevin's family. We had a lot of fun getting Aggie Ice Cream, swimming, going to parades, seeing the fireworks, to name a few of the things we did.

Cole loves to swim!

Ethan and Uncle Greg watching the fireworks in Salt Lake.

Ethan liked them even if they were a little loud.

Even on vacation, one of Izzy's favorite things to do is organize! I think this is so cute! When Izzy is around you better watch out, she will organize your shoes. I couldn't be prouder!

We have A/C Again!

Okay, so over a month ago we realized our A/C unit wasn't working right. We were lucky up until this week to have been blessed with a really mild cool summer. But it has been hotter this week and humid due to all the rain we've been having.
The kids needed to cool off. We decided that being wet was the best fix.
So every day this week we have been in our little pool and running through our sprinklers.
Ethan missed the first few days because of a stomach bug,
but he made up for it the day he felt better...
These are the pictures I took on Wednesday.

Some of the neighbor kids came over to join us.

Yes, I know we need a bigger pool. I've ordered one and it's on the way.

So after going through three repair companies. Kip, my hero, answered our call for help last night and had the repair done in no time this morning. Yay!

What would I do without all the modern conveniences like A/C and in-car DVD players, to name my top two.
